We are looking for a Support Engineer who can help a growing team deliver excellent technical support and continuous system improvements. This role blends software development technical troubleshooting and IT support ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation whos ready to grow into a broader full-stack engineering role in a dynamic environment.
What Youll Do
- Basic Software Development:
- Contribute small backend and frontend features to internal platforms. Assist in maintaining and improving internal tools and integrations.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve issues across various systems and integrations. Collaborate with senior engineers to identify root causes and implement efficient fixes.
- Technical Support:
- Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues ensuring timely and effective assistance. Manage the technical support queue including internal IT requests bug reports and small feature requests.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- IT Management:
- Manage hardware and software provisioning. Ensure that devices and systems (MacOS SaaS tools VPNs etc.) are securely configured and compliant.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Around 35 years of professional experience in support or software engineering (open to 23 years if highly capable and trainable).
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript PostgreSQL Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Git (version control)
- Preferred Knowledge Areas
- Frontend: ReactJS Tanstack Cypress
- Backend: ExpressJS KoaJS Jest
- DevOps: Common DevOps practices basic CI/CD Terraform Google Cloud Deployment Manager
- IT & SaaS Environment
- Comfortable working on MacOS and provisioning Apple hardware/software.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace Microsoft 365 and enterprise SaaS tools such as Kandji (MDM) Nordlayer (VPN) HubSpot CustomerIO Front and Aircall.
- Experience with project management and design tools: Linear Notion Figma.
