Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Orthopedics & Aquatics
Location: NovaCare Rehabilitation Frederick Maryland
Schedule: Part-Time Late Afternoons & Evenings (2:00 PM 7:00 PM)
Compensation: $31.00/hour

Our team of dedicated clinicians is passionate about providing innovative life-changing care and were excited to welcome a new Licensed Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to our aquatics program.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Licensed Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team primarily treating patients in our aquatic therapy program with occasional orthopedic caseloads. This role is ideal for a clinician with prior aquatics experience. We are also open to new graduate PTAs who have completed an aquatics rotation and are eager to grow in this specialty.
Schedule:
- 2:00 PM 7:00 PM
- 23 days per week (negotiable)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
