Location: NovaCare Chevy Chase MD
Position:Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics Sports Medicine Vestibular and Concussion
Status: Full Time 40 hours

This position is ideal for a licensed PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience. Independent new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are welcome to apply.
We treat a diverse population of teens through geriatrics with specialty services to include vestibular and concussion programs in addition to general orthopedics and sports medicine.
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours treating until 700PM twice a week. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:30 A.M.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
