The Opportunity
Downers Energy & Utilities team is seeking applications for an Electrical Apprentice in Eastern Creek NSW starting in mid-January 2026. As part of this role youll be part of a dedicated crew supporting substation builds and high-voltage network upgrades across our Eastern Creek sites. You will also be involved in cable pulling HV installations and other critical infrastructure works. This role offers flexibility and exposure to real-world electrical work in a dynamic environment as well as other sites and projects as part of Downers Energy & Utilities sector.
About You
- Drivers Licence
- Completed Year 10 or higher (Year 12 preferred) with Pass marks in Maths & English
- Willingness to travel to different projects / sites as part of the apprenticeship programme
- Keen to learn and work in a hands-on environment
- Self-motivated and able to take constructive feedback
- A reliable team player who values safety and wellbeingfor yourself and your crew
