Pediatric Hospitalist (MDDO)

Inova L.J. Murphy Childrens Hospital is seeking a qualified physician to join their growing Pediatric Hospitalist team in Falls Church Virginia.

Our Pediatric hospitalists provide 24/7 in-house coverage of the pediatric medical unit daily coverage of the newborn nursery (no delivery attendance) and consultative services to our surgical colleagues. Our pediatric hospitalist program seeks additional hospitalists ready to join 24 dedicated physicians in their endeavor to provide expert care of children from birth to young adulthood. While caring for both the general and medically complex pediatric populations we also remain at the forefront of education for residents and medical students and are involved in mentorship and QI projects. We are proud of ourown Pediatric Residency Program with35 residents. We also educate over 150 medical students from 2 different schools in our region and are the Northern Virginia campus for the UVA School of Medicine.

Inova L.J. Murphy Childrens Hospital is a 226-bed full-service childrens hospital devoted to the healthcare of infants children and adolescents in the Northern Virginia area. Minimum Requirements:

• Education:An MD or DO from an accredited university medical school Completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship Board eligible or board certified
• Licensure:Current or eligibility for an unrestricted Virginia state medical license and DEA
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
