Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a Pediatric Behavioral Health setting. Daily tasks include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients providers and other members of the team are critical to this role.

Responsibilities:
- Patient assessments specific to Pediatric Behavioral Health
- Medication administration
- Treatment planning
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Providing skilled nursing care
- Case management
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the District of Columbia (DC) or applied (2 weeks prior to being submitted to job)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT experience in a relevant setting
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- Experience in Pediatric Behavioral Health
Special Considerations:
- Child-friendly environment
- Scrubs with no logos from other places
Scheduling:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Ratio Days: 1:5
- Nights: 1:3
- Weekends 1:5
