About the position:
The Operations Trainer/Facilitator is to ensure that all in-house installers and third-party installers are trained through an Omni Fiber training program to be able to perform each task required to complete a proper installation and ensure complete customer satisfaction. The Operations Trainer/Facilitator is also responsible for ensuring that technicians follow the installation process by having a Quality Control process where work performed is tracked and feedback is provided. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all technicians are following all safety protocols and guidelines.
What you will do:
- Must have strong presentation skills as training will be held in a classroom setting.
- Training of FTTH process to new hire installers and Contract partners.
- Able to certify employees and contractors on ladder bucket truck fork truck construction process for MDU installations fleet safety driver training and other certifications as needed.
- Job shadowing technicians to ensure they are properly implementing process regarding FTTH installations for career progression.
- Ability to craft new process and procedure documents that will be delivered to the field Tech support agents or NOC teams.
- Microsoft Suite proficiency to include Power Point creation and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to markets and conduct training in a face-to-face environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with FTTP/ISP installation process
- Previous field technician experience performing installation service repairs line maintenance and troubleshooting.
- 2 years of training experience in the telecommunications industry.
- OSHA 10 is required.
- OSHA 30 is preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable in quality fiber installation and service practices.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Must have a valid drivers license acceptable driving record and minimum state required auto insurance policy.
