Job Summary:

The Associate Director Production will take point on managing production efforts for the China region. This role will focus on co-development opportunities with external partners helping to drive the evolution and sustainability of our existing live service games and owning the result of the co-development pipeline. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality regional based contents and features while contributing to strategic planning and execution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own business results of all the co-development initiatives and be responsible for timely delivery and positive financial results.
• Drive production efforts for co-development initiatives with external partners.
• Define and maintain project roadmaps track progress against milestones and proactively identify risks blockers and dependencies planning mitigations as needed.
• Collaborate with central development teams to align development pipelines and priorities.
• Standardize process and status reporting methodologies including key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress forecast milestones and provide senior leadership with ongoing visibility into results.
• Provide leadership support and guidance to direct or indirect teams managing performance effectively and fostering a positive collaborative work culture.
• Represent China-based initiatives in global planning and ensure regional needs are integrated into product strategy.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination across disciplines ensuring progress alignment accountability and regular updates on key projects and goals.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in AAA game development with a strong background in production or similar role.
• Experience coordinating across art design engineering and external development teams. to ensure smooth execution of business priorities and operational goals.
• Experience tracking complex projects and providing insight and influence into how to deliver more effectively and mitigate risks.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong foundation of software development lifecycle and operational execution.
• Familiarity with outsourcing/ExDev workflows and vendor management.
• Ability to work across time zones and cultures with a global mindset.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong proficiency in English required for effective communication with local and global teams.
