At Manning Hospital our progressive Perioperative Department features three operating theatres a dedicated endoscopy room and an eight-bay PACU with a modern day stay unit. Youll join a supportive knowledgeable team thats passionate about delivering high-quality person-centred care - and equally passionate about nurturing new nurses into confident skilled perioperative practitioners.

About the role

This Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) role is designed to help you build the skills and confidence you need to thrive in the perioperative environment. Working across scrub/scout anaesthetic and PACU areas youll gain hands-on experience in a variety of procedures including general surgery orthopaedics ophthalmology urology obstetrics gynaecology and endoscopy.

Youll be supported every step of the way with structured learning opportunities clinical supervision and guidance from experienced mentors and educators. Each day brings fresh learning experiences and meaningful teamwork all within a department that values curiosity growth and collaboration.

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
