Pay Range: $35$38/hour (Local Contract)
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)for an exciting job in Montour Falls NY.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care including monitoring vital signs administering medications and assisting with prescribed treatments.
Accurately observe document and report patient status changes to supervising staff.
Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene mobility and comfort needs.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Support infection control safety and quality assurance initiatives across all nursing duties.
Prepare and maintain patient rooms equipment and medical supplies.
Collaborate effectively with nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.
Work every other weekend and designated holidays demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Qualifications
License: Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of New York (or compact equivalent).
Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication critical observation and patient care skills.
