Job Summary

Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns and Trainees offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks real-world experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring Internship is from January 12 20 or 26 2026 through April 24th 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

Game Show Network is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented intern to support the Development Programming department. This role will expose you to the many facets of development (creative development talent and programming/production etc). This person will also serve as a department liaison and handle communication with internal Game Show Network divisions for our development programming team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively participating brainstorming and contributing to development department meetings. This includes attending pitches generating talent ideas and game show formatting; Researching creating and updating database on market trends and competitive news; Participating in the development process from ideation including pitch decks sizzles pilots and workshops; Generating ideas for host talent casting and researching talent names for brainstorms; Maintaining files pitch logs and logging notes in development meetings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Canva and PowerPoint and other creative presentation software
  • Competence in managing projects situations and people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • The ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Students majoring in television production broadcast journalism or related fields; The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role industry department etc; Interest in television production specifically game show formats

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
