Restaurant Manager at Hopkins and Company Restaurant
We are seeking a RestaurantManager to join our team of driven and enthusiastic hospitality professionals.Hopkins and Company is a boutique hospitality group in Atlanta Georgia. Guided by Gina and Chef Linton Hopkins we are a team of dedicated professionals championing integrity and generosity in the restaurant industry. Our locations include Holeman and Finch Public House C. Ellets Steakhouse and H&F Burger and Hops Chicken at Ponce City Market. Placement at one of our restaurant locations will be based on individual applicants interest experience and availability - please note in your application if there is a location you would like to be considered for. Salaries start at 55k based on experience and location.
What is the Job
The Restaurant Manager is a highly skilled position which plays an important role in maintaining positive experiences for our team and our guests. As a manager you will work closely with the General Manager to hire train and motivate staff members cultivating a passionate and professional team. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including menu changes seating purchasing and receiving. You will collaborate with the culinary team on the consistency of presentation and adherence to the recipes. Youmust be able to have a keen eye to cleanliness and organization of the space and lead a thriving organized and professional team with care for excellent guest responsibilities will include assisting with hiring training and development of team members. Overseeing the quality and expediency of food and beverages while maintaining safety sanitation and general maintenance.
What are the responsibilities
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu and assist with menu editing
- Conduct ongoing training and hiring to ensure staff members are upholding core values and standards
- Ensuring labor goals are met helping to achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal sales goals
- Oversee inventory including ordering receiving re-stocking and coding
- Set up and maintain a clean organized front of house according to brand standards; restocks all items as needed throughout shift
- Work as a team player helping your fellow managers and staff with guest interactions and restaurant duties to contribute to a positive working environment
- Possess the ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns

What are the requirements
- 2 years of restaurant management experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Outlook 365 and Excel
- Strong financial management background
- Excellent math reading writing and communication skills
- Able to stand for long periods of time; occasionally kneel bend and crouch as required to reach items at varying height levels
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment calmly and effectively
