This position is responsible for managing and coordinating account service activities as the primary customer contact for the retention of the local group business. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and seeks business expansion opportunities with current clients. May visit client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Defines and oversees account management and retention strategy execution for a defined book of accounts
Build and maintain customer relations with existing and new client base
Identifies opportunities for penetration sales
Supports pursuit of new business opportunities either directly with a broker/consultant or potential client or through a team approach with field office sales staff
Responsible for growing specialty business within existing accounts
Provides support for field sales staff with RFP (Request for Proposal) responses proposals client presentations and underwriting coordination on new business sales opportunities
Develops business relationships with brokers consultants and key decision makers to meet or exceed new and renewal sales targets
Manages the annual renewal process for accounts including underwriting negotiation preparation of renewal analysis and client presentations
Coordinates and controls new business implementation activities
Perform other duties assigned by management
Education & Qualifications:
Must have 3 year of customer service or account management experience
Degree is not required
Knowledge ofequipment and parts of commercial Fire Alarms and Sprinkler systems is preferred
Ability to travel within DFW area when interfacing with customers
Excellent relationship management skills
Proven ability to grow account revenue
Experience analyzing reports and identifying proposals
Excellent presentation and training skills - position requires public speaking / training to commercial property tenants
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Drive to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy
