Gardner Vaughan Group Lead our inaugrual project on the Gold Coast

As we launch our first project on the Gold Coast Bronze on Chevron we are looking forward to establishing a strong site team throughout this region. Building on our reputation for excellence and a backstory of 36 years of experience across multi-residential apartment construction we bring our renowned commitment to quality developments to this new exciting market.

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead this team on a $120m 20-story development which includes 4 parking levels over a total of 119 apartments. This role is scheduled to commence in March 2026.

As Project Manager you will lead the planning execution and delivery of this high-profile project ensuring it meets GVGs standards of excellence in safety quality budget and delivery. You will be the driving force behind the project lifecycle collaborating closely with design teams subcontractors and senior management to deliver outstanding results. Leading a team of site staff you will have the drive to mentor and guide your team.

Your Accountabilities Will Include

Guide design and construction teams through all project phases from DA to handover
Manage budgets timelines risk and quality control to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
Establish and maintain project governance and stakeholder communication
Lead procurement contract negotiation and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with all health safety and regulatory requirements
Foster a collaborative accountable team culture aligned with GVGs values

What Youll Bring

Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction ideally with mid-to-large scale residential or mixed-use developments
Strong leadership communication negotiation skills with the ability to mentor and guide your team
Expertise in construction methodologies contract management and risk mitigation
Proficiency with project management software (e.g. MS Project Procore)
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelors degree in Construction Management or similar
Minimum 10 years experience in construction with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
