The Opportunity

As a Physiotherapist you will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment treatment and discharge planning with a focus on quality safety and patient outcomes. You will work alongside other highly motivated and dedicated Physiotherapy staff in achieving exceptional outcomes and patient care.

At Strathfield we pride ourselves on our high level of care and patient outcomes. Our hospital provides a broad range of health care needs from day surgery procedures to highly complex surgery. Candidates will be working across various caseloads across the hospital including but not limited to cardiothoracic surgery cardiology general surgery orthopaedics plastics and reconstructive surgery.

Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work across various other Ramsay Healthcare Hospitals in Sydney and surrounds.

Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
• 2 years or more experience in an acute hospital setting
• Ability to effectively assess plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
• Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
• Previous ICU/CCU experience is highly desired for this role.

Remuneration

On offer is hourly base salary of $42.15 - $55.42 casual loading superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The Hospital

Strathfield Private is a teaching hospital for Sydney University conveniently located 200 metres from Strathfield Train Station. Our facilities encompass 84 beds 7 operating theatres 1 endoscopy suite 1 cardiac catheterisation lab a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit and a Day Surgery Unit. We also have onsite radiology pathology café and specialist consulting suites.
