About the Role
Accountable to the Program Manager and responsible to the Acute @Home grade 3 physiotherapist the Acute @Home Grade 2 physiotherapist has an exciting and stimulating role in providing high quality overall physiotherapy management to the patients under HITH and RIR and may also include assessment and planning with patients whilst still in the ED or ward-based environments. The candidate will be responsible for the supervision of physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists. The candidate is also responsible for continuing quality improvement projects and other tasks as directed/delegated.


Classifications for this position will range from VB1-VB4 ($90235 to $103724 per annum pro rata for part time).


Your Contribution

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence

About Acute @Home
Acute @Home is a forward-thinking and dynamic directorate comprised of inter-linked services - Residential In-Reach (RIR) Hospital in the Home (HITH) District Nursing (DN) and Palliative Care @Home () - with all programs aimed at supporting patients to return home successfully and earlier from campus-based care.

The Acute @Home physiotherapist works as an integral member of a medically-led multidisciplinary team to plan and provide care to HITH and RIR patients in their residential aged care facility home place of work place of study and HITH clinic. The patient population supported by RIR and HITH is across the adult lifespan from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of clinical conditions.
