Your Role
Serve as the senior representative of Global Security across the Americas region leading the business security strategy and execution in alignment with global objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders ensuring that security risk is effectively managed across all business units in the Americas. Lead and develop a team of Business Security Officers (BSOs) to deliver a business-aligned risk-informed security program.
Evaluates and develops data security policies and procedures safeguarding information and systems and identifying new areas of risk. Prevents monitors and responding to breaches and cyber-attacks through continuous development of the firms technical security capabilities.
You will be Responsible for:
Lead the Americas Business Security function overseeing BSOs across the Americas.
Translate global security strategy into actionable regional plans aligned with business priorities and risk appetite.
Represent Global Security in senior regional boards and committees influencing decision-making and ensuring security is embedded in business strategy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders across the Americas.
Act as the primary escalation point for business security matters in the region.
Advocate for business-driven security ensuring alignment between business needs and security capabilities.
Oversee identification assessment and mitigation of security risks across the Americas including third-party risks.
Ensure consistent implementation of security controls and compliance with global policies standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide strategic input into global risk governance representing regional perspectives.
Lead develop and mentor a team of BSOs fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.
Ensure consistent delivery of security services across the region leveraging best practices and shared learnings.
Align team objectives with global security goals and regional business priorities standardizing approach and delivery with the Security organization.
Provide strategic security consulting to major business initiatives including acquisitions technology transformations and regulatory changes.
Promote a security risk-aware culture through targeted training awareness programs and leadership engagement.
Support business units in making informed decisions on security risk and control implementation.
Represent Global Security to clients regulators and external partners across the Americas.
Support third-party risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place for external entities handling firm information.
The Experience You Bring:
Proven leadership experience in security across multiple disciplines (e.g. information security physical security privacy resilience).
Deep understanding of the financial services industry preferably asset management.
Experience operating in complex global corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of risk management regulatory requirements and industry standards.
