McWane Ductile New Jersey-Hotline Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers involved in the finishing of cast iron pipe. This role requires strong leadership problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Pay Rate between $75000 to $80000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Including but not limited to)

• Monitor and examine materials at various stages of production to ensure quality standards are met.
• Observe machinery operations interpret specifications and make necessary adjustments to work procedures.
• Suggest improvements to work conditions to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Resolve work-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate time and production records to track performance.
• Ensure production levels meet established targets.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure consistent production.
• Directly supervise a team of 15-20 employees providing guidance and support.
• Ensure required training Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Pure Safety and Safety Talks are completed daily weekly and monthly.
• Conduct regular safety audits and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Oversee and enforce company policies safety regulations and disciplinary actions for hourly staff as needed.
• Uphold all supervisory responsibilities in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
