Job Summary
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- Take a proactive and disciplined approach to Rotork Environmental Health and Safety policy driving the right behaviors encouraging identification and resolution of potential hazards. Reporting and closing out investigation into accidents and incidents.
- Lead the warehouse in accordance with the Rotork Lean and Daily Management rules / event-cycle of the site. (Rotork Management Operations System). Implementing warehouse policies to achieve the organizational goals.
- Lead the warehouse team providing training coaching and development opportunities.
- Manage the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse processes ensuring plan for every part is deployed successfully and the processes are sustained and relevant.
- Manage the accuracy of stock movement and control achieving shift outputs and deliverables.
- Ensure completed work orders are available and the finished goods have been physically and transactionally moved to the warehouse before handing over to the shipping department.
- Facilitate the warehouse Tier 1 SQDCP process implementing tools visual management and information flow into the Tier 2 SQDCP process.
- Plan resource and capacity (internal and external) requirements based on production requirements supplier and customer schedules. Balancing workload to demand.
- Promotes deployment and execution of lean principles analyzing and drawing relevant conclusions for data creating and executing root cause corrective measures. Providing the team with guidance and coaching.
Qualifications :
Essential:
- Previous experience and knowledge of warehousing and inventory control methods and procedures.
- Proven track record on delivery of Safety Quality Cost and Delivery in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience of warehouse management systems.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Use of common tools such as Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid FLT License
Desirable
- Automotive/Fast Moving Consumer Goods warehouse experience.
- Familiarization with warehouse management systems.
