Job Summary
Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the lab.
Principal duties and responsibilities include:
- Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment maintaining PM checklists
- Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production down time
- Services and maintains Edgers Generators and Blockers
- Cleaning changing parts performing checks calibrating
- Identify issues and perform repairs
- Assist with installations fabrications servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab
- Follow all safety measures Lock out / Tag out procedures and utilize PPE if required
Qualifications :
- No specific education required
- 1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical pneumatic hydraulics servo drives HVAC etc.)
- Experience in manufacturing and optical industry desirable
- Must be able to read and write English
- Requires accuracy some mental effort and occasional organization and planning
