Job Summary
Job Title: Landscape Architect
Location: NYC Office or Remote (NYS) or Buffalo Ithaca Albany Office
Type: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Support design work for civil engineering projects: paving roadways grading drainage stormwater utilities site layout erosion & sediment control
- Prepare conceptual layouts drawings reports cost estimates SWPPPs and stormwater calculations
- Assist senior staff with project schedules and design/construction issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Attend project meetings and assist with construction administration
- Develop technical skills and work toward licensure if not yet licensed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters in civil engineering Environmental Engineering or Landscape Architecture
- 610 years of relevant experience
- NYS PE or EIT preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD Civil3D or MicroStation
- HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software preferred
- Excellent teamwork organization and communication skills
- Familiarity with local permitting agencies a plus especially NYC
