About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in data architecture big data technologies and cloud-based data engineering for one of our clients in the Energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can design and implement scalable data solutions while mentoring junior team members and collaborating across business and technical teams.
Key Responsabilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data modeling data product design and integration.
- Provide technical leadership and thought partnership in selecting enhancing and implementing data domain solutions.
- Partner with Enterprise Data Management to define and maintain data standards policies and governance practices ensuring data integrity security and availability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers in data architecture and engineering best practices.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain internal control standards and ensure timely resolution of audit or regulatory issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12 years of experience developing and integrating ETL applications and high-performance reusable data pipelines.
- 7 years of experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
- Extensive experience with Azure Data Lake Azure Data Factory Azure DevOps and Databricks.
- Proven experience in data quality checks customer data matching (fuzzy matching) and data validation frameworks.
- Strong programming experience in Python and PySpark.
- Solid understanding of SQL SQL Server and Vector Databases.
- Familiarity with Databricks AI foundational models and Genie is highly desirable.

JobSpecifications
- EmploymentType: 6-12 months contract. Possibility of renewal depending on personal performance and business needs.
- Salary:$65-75/hr W2 hourly or $75-$85/hr C2C.
- Location:On-site 5 days a week. King of Prussia PA.
