Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using QuickBooks and a solid understanding of accounts receivable accounts payable and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and send invoices; track and follow up on payments.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing or payment inquiries
Qualifications
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience preferably in an office setting.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop expert-level required.
- Solid understanding of A/R A/P and invoicing workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience working in the Construction or IT industry.
- Familiarity with payroll processing or sales tax filings.
