Job Summary

Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns and Trainees offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks real-world experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring Internship is from January 12 20 or 26 2026 through April 24th 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.

Global Creative Content is an internal hub for multi-discipline creative work for the Sony Pictures Entertainment marketing group. We are producers editors designers writers and small- and big-picture thinkers focused on creating cutting-edge assets that surround our entertainment properties to create lasting cultural impact. Put simply we work with our global marketers and clients to find a creative solution to any marketing challenge.


We have a producer mindset and bring our innate sense of urgency and considerable experience to bear on any production need big or small. You can find us on film and TV sets talent interviews massive content days audience reaction screenings press junkets events and everything in between. Capturing assets to serve the needs of our film and TV marketing and sales lifecycle is a big part of our mandate and where it all begins.


Leveraging close proximity to our IP filmmakers and showrunners we strategize and execute creative solutions with our captured or acquired assets ranging from; short vignettes and TV specials motion posters sizzle reels talent soundbites key art presentation decks TV spots VR/AR experiences branding packages social assets and much more. We scale to meet the needs of the business and work with top tier talent internally and externally to bring the highest standards to our work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ideate creative content ideas with the team for Sony Pictures films and TV shows
  • Find ways to adapt creative content across film TV and digital spaces; Assist the team with production materials needed for shoots
  • Available to read scripts and provide story breakdowns for the show/film
  • Be available for general admin duties (order office supplies team lunch runs production meeting room prep etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Genuine passion for film television and entertainment marketing with a curiosity to learn how creative content drives audience engagement
  • A proactive go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and isnt afraid to ask questions or contribute ideas
  • Tech and social-savvy- comfortable using digital tools cloud platforms and creative technologies and keeps up with emerging social media trends and pop culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly share ideas in brainstorms scripts and decks
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining professionalism

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Film/TV Production Entertainment Business Design or Digital Media
  • Experience academic or personal in content creation such as social videos TikToks or short-form storytelling for entertainment or brands
  • Familiarity with content management tools social analytics platforms or AI-assisted creative tools like ChatGPT Canva or CapCut
  • A collaborative team player who brings curiosity creativity and accountability to every project.

    The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
