Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and innovative Director of IT to join our dynamic organization in Istanbul Türkiye. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT strategy overseeing all technology operations and driving digital transformation initiatives across the company.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organizations business objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks servers and cloud-based systems
- Ensure the security and integrity of the companys data and IT systems through robust cybersecurity measures
- Manage the IT budget and allocate resources effectively to support organizational goals
- Collaborate with other department heads to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business processes and productivity
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the companys competitive edge
- Develop and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers
- Establish IT policies standards and best practices across the organization
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; Masters degree or MBA preferred
- 10 years of progressive experience in IT management roles with a proven track record of successful leadership
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure cybersecurity cloud computing and emerging technologies
- Excellent project management skills including experience with large-scale IT implementations
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term IT strategies aligned with business objectives
- Strong financial acumen including experience in budget management and cost optimization
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools including advanced Excel skills
- Experience with IT governance frameworks and best practices (e.g. ITIL COBIT)
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Turkish is a plus
