We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montréal-Est Quebec from Friday to Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM. As a Loader Operator you will carry out various material loading and handling tasks requiring the use of your machine. You will also perform weigh-ins of materials entering and leaving the yard.
What youre responsible for:
- Operate a loader safely and efficiently;
- Load and unload raw materials in the different departments;
- Complete and provide weight reports to the relevant personnel;
- Notify the supervisor of any material non-conformities;
- Inspect machinery at the beginning and end of the shift;
- Feed the production line;
- Ensure machinery is functioning properly and report any anomalies to your immediate supervisor;
- Complete a daily activity report;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a DEP in heavy machinery or 1 to 3 years of experience operating a heavy equipment.
- You have a valid Class 5 drivers license.
- You are conscientious about health and safety.
- You have the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- You have good communication skills.
- You are able to work effectively as part of a team.
- You have knowledge of metals (asset).
