Accounts Officer (3 Days per Week)
Location: Seven Hills NSW
Salary: Up to $85000 Super (Pro Rata)
Hours: 9:00am 5:00pm 3 days per week (Flexible hours and days)
Were recruiting on behalf of a long-standing Australian business thats been operating for almost 30 years in the fire services industry specialising in installation maintenance testing and compliance across commercial and industrial sites.
Theyre now looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their close-knit team in Seven Hills offering flexibility stability and a genuine family-style culture where youre never just a number.
About the Role
This role primarily focuses on Accounts Receivable ensuring accurate billing collections and customer account management. However its also an exciting opportunity to expand your skills across Accounts Payable and Payroll with full training provided by a supportive and experienced team.
Day-to-day youll also be involved in maintaining costing spreadsheets for various job sites and sharing these directly with the Managing Director giving you great exposure to business operations and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing collections and reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Payroll processing as required (training provided)
- Maintain accurate job costing spreadsheets and provide regular updates to the M.D.
- Oversee fleet management tasks including fuel card (Shell) receipting and reporting
- Support month-end processes and general administrative accounting tasks
- Maintain strong relationships across the business with a focus on accuracy and care
About You
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a part-time role
- A team player with a proactive approach and a genuine care factor
