Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Counsellor Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality client-centered counselling conduct psychosocial and risk assessments deliver targeted interventions coordinate care and connect clients with community resources to support their overall well-being.

Located In Northam

Day to day!

  • Provide individual and group counselling treatments addressing a wide range of psychosocial issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and risk assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement personalized care and intervention plans including crisis support.
  • Coordinate with external health providers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.

Lets talk about you! 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Counselling or a related field.
  • Current registration with ACA PACFA or equivalent professional body.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification counselling experience.
  • Proficiency in therapeutic modalities for mental health trauma addictions and family dynamics.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathetic culturally sensitive and able to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
