Job Summary

Based in Oslo CBA (Commercial Banking Applications) is an integral part of the United Fintech platform where the IBAS system powers trade finance and payments for international banks.
We are now seeking a Product Manager - Trade Finance to join our growing team in Oslo. The Role
As Product Manager you will work on the continued development and implementation of our trade finance solutions. This is a hands-on role where you will learn both the business and technical aspects of our products contributing to projects that impact the international banking community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the design specification and testing of new IBAS system functionality
- Ensuring product documentation remains accurate and up to date
- Supporting sales development and implementation projects
- Conducting training for customers colleagues and partners
- Providing maintenance and support for our international customer base
- Working directly with clients and partners on specific projects
You will be part of an experienced and collaborative team with opportunities to develop into a specialist or leadership role as your expertise grows. Your work will directly shape how banks around the world manage and finance international trade.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are curious collaborative and structured in their way of working. Prior experience in trade finance is valuable but not essential - the right attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
You will likely bring:
- Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Documentary Credits
- Documentary Collections
- Guarantees
- Standby Letters of Credit
- Supply Chain Finance
- Related products such as Payments Financing/Loans or Collateral
- Experience within a financial institution or with a banking or fintech technology vendor
- An understanding of banking processes and a genuine interest in financial technology
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally as part of client or project engagements
