As a Specialist for Lighting Functions and Features in Exterior Lighting you will play an expert role within the development team supporting all projects related to photometrical evaluation of exterior front and rear lighting systems. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive photometric assessments through simulations and physical measurements interpreting results and providing expert advice to optimize lighting components. Your work will ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements while considering cross-functional needs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge vehicle development in a dynamic and innovative environment. |
What should you bring along
| - A successfully completed degree in engineering or natural sciences
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for automotive lighting technologies
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional collaboration
- Good communication skills in English to support international development teams

Must have technical skill | - Proficiency in photometric simulation tools such as Speos and LucidShape
- Experience with E/E systems and automotive control units
- Knowledge of system requirements and standards (e.g. ASPICE)
- Requirement management and traceability for function- and system-level specifications
- Practical experience with CATIA V5 or similar CAD software

Good to have Technical skills | - Familiarity with BMWs established vehicle development process
- Experience with software tools like CATIA/Prisma
- Prior exposure to lighting functions within automotive development
