Position Overview
We are seekingdedicated and enthusiasticPreschool Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. A preschool teacher plays a vital role in early childhood education. This role involves fostering a safe engaging and nurturing environment where young children can explore learn and grow socially emotionally and academically.
Qualifications:
- Evidence of a genuine and active Christian lifestyle
- Demonstrates an understanding of the purpose of Christian Education
- Proficient teaching skills in a preschool environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge and experience with the Class observation tool is preferred
- Ability to design engaging and innovative lessons and activities
- Ability to multitask and effectively lead a classroom
- Ability to address behavioral or development challenges with appropriate strategies
- Collaborates effectively with a team of teachers
- Embraces a growth mindset
Requirements:
- CDA AA in early childhood education
- DCF 45 hours certification
- Staff credentialing through DCF
- Previous experience in teaching preschool students is a plus
- Background screening
- U.S. citizenship is a must
