Job Summary
The Faculty Development Council (FDC) is now accepting proposals for Sabbaticals and Development Leaves for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
OBJECTIVE
As outlined in the Faculty Manual sabbaticals (for tenured faculty) and faculty development leaves (for non-tenure track faculty) are designed to enhance the professional growth and development of faculty and increase the value of their service to the University.
ELIGIBILITY
All tenured and non-tenure track faculty are eligible provided they meet the length of service minimums and other eiligibility criteria outlined in Chapter 7 of the Faculty Manual. Applicants should verify their eligibility with the Office of Faculty Affairs before applying for a sabbatical or faculty development leave.
