Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage complex financial reporting and reconciliation processes. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can quickly adapt and contribute to a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Support external audits by preparing schedules reconciliations and documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and finance initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
- CPA or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 57 years of progressive accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. SAP NetSuite Oracle or similar).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Pay: $80000/yearly
