The Extinguisher Service Sales Representative will sell service agreements and service sales solutions to existing customers new clientele and recently completed construction projects. The Extinguisher Service Sales Representative is responsible for development of recurring service sales developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients conducting outside sales calls developing positive ongoing customer relationships. Duties may include identifying prospective customers creating proposals for service agreements following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Extinguisher Service Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Executes agreed upon sales plan for territory
Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
Develops a sound understanding of all product lines and services offered
Conducts sales presentations seminars and demonstrations; actively participate in networking groups
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
Actively participates educates and promotes industry knowledge
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers alerting them of new products services and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls orders sales lost business and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience required.
High school diploma or GED required
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Strong work ethic and competitive spirit
Ability to read technical documents Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Clean driving record and valid drivers license required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the fire protection industry a plus.
Degree in Sales Marketing or related field a plus

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel.
