They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement whether due to fraud or error and to issue an auditors report that includes the auditors opinion.

PwC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert within the AP team supporting high volume AP Processing vendor reconciliations and inquiries. This role will collaborate closely with the AP manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of payables.

Job Requirements and Preferences: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA / Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Bring 2 years of experience in enterprise level Accounts Payable ideally in shared services or multi-entity environment

  • Experience with Workday Financials is preferred but not

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience working with a team of AP specialists including following process and control procedures.

  • Possess knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls

  • Have proven experience working with cross border teams

  • Possess excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills

  • Be based in India or willing to relocate

  • Fluency in English

This role will report into PwCs Accounts Payable Manager Managed Services but act as the principal interface to the clients procurement team and vendors.
