Your Tasks
- As part of the Photobiology & Skin Protection laboratory the PhD thesis aims to characterize UV damage induced changes of molecular pathways in the skin context to develop novel photoprotective concepts and strategies.

Your Profile
- Masters degree (or equivalent) in molecular biology biochemistry cell biology biomedical sciences preferentially with basic knowledge in bioinformatics (R/python omics data analysis)
- Experience in cell culture cell analysis and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g. nucleic acid extraction protein purification Knockdown/Overexpression)
- Desirable experience in immunoprecipitation CRISPR/Cas9 editing and/or omics technologies
- Problem-solving mentality
- Strong team orientation
- Strong written and oral communication in English
