Job Summary
As a Refinery Site Manager you are responsible for:
- Safely managing day-to-day operations of refinery process finished fuels and water treatment programs to ensure performance and value delivery for our customers
- Managing a team of Account Representatives and Technicians at our customers location in Lemont IL
- Developing trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaboration
- Applying account management fundamentals to understand customer needs requirements and potential sales opportunities while supporting the account P&L
- Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers
- Routine monitoring and reporting of performance of existing treatment programs
- Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers
- Collecting and interpreting data for troubleshooting service reports meetings reviews and presentations delivered to customers
- Providing field support laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues projects turn-arounds shut-downs and daily operations
- Managing chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role will require:
- Bachelors degree in chemical engineering (preferred) or similar discipline
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Refining supporting hydrocarbon process and finished fuels additives treatment programs
- Strong understanding of industrial chemical treatment technology and sales process
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting and/or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation
- A comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
- Ability to present complex technical content to various levels of internal and external organizations in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook)
- Ability to drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)
- A TWIC Card or ability to obtain a TWIC Card
- Residing in a commutable distance to Lemont IL

- Additional information can be found at annual pay scale for this position is between $76800.00 - $190900.00.
Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above.
