Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute National Rail & Wellington Electricity Manager to lead our Wellington Electricity operations and establish a nationally recognised rail (electrical) capability. Based in Wellington this pivotal leadership role will drive operational excellence foster strong stakeholder relationships and deliver innovative electrical infrastructure solutions across the greater Wellington region and nationally.

Were seeking a proven leader with:

Strong commercial acumen and experience in financial P&L management
Operational contract management expertise ideally within electricity distribution or rail (electrical) sectors
A commitment to Zero Harm and customer satisfaction
Excellent communication influencing and leadership skills
Experience in leading cultural change and building high-performing teams
Strategic thinking and the ability to drive business growth nationally

Youll also need to demonstrate confidence resilience and a results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver on performance targets.
