About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023 BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged Hungary which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall park operations including management of environment safety accommodation catering transportation and on-site partner businesses to ensure smooth park functioning.
- Develop and implement the parks annual/phased objectives and management plans update and refine management systems and processes and enhance service standards and operational efficiency.
- Gather and analyze feedback from business units and employees design improvement measures and supervise their execution to continuously optimize the parks operational experience.
- Address employee complaints and emergency incidents investigate and identify root causes and ensure the park operates safely and stably.
- Strengthen communication and collaboration with business units and relevant functional departments to drive cross-departmental resource integration and coordinated management.
- Maintain positive relationships with external entities such as government agencies and municipal service centers to ensure compliant and smooth progress of park and department work.
- Develop long-term plans based on the parks development stage and strategic positioning and explore innovative management and operational models.
Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree or above with at least 5 years of experience in administration or park management; experience in overseas factory or park management is preferred.
- Familiar with park management as well as supplier and service provider management.
- Possess skills in team management cross-departmental collaboration and resource integration with the ability to effectively drive multi-departmental coordination.
- Strong language proficiency: must be proficient in Hungarian and English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
- High sense of responsibility good stress tolerance and strong service awareness and innovative mindset.
- Ability to develop park development plans from a holistic perspective with strategic thinking and market acumen.
