PE Teacher Lead Rigorous A-Level Sport Science Theory and Drive Attainment in Biomechanics/Psychology Tower Hamlets
A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Tower Hamlets is recruiting an enthusiastic PE Teacher (Academic Specialist) to lead the theoretical Sport Science curriculum at KS5 from January 2026.
- PE Teacher (Academic Specialist) required from January 2026.

- Seeking a specialist to teach across the core KS3/4 curriculum and lead Academic PE (A-Level Sport Science).
You will teach PE across all key stages with a focus on raising the quality of instruction and outcomes in core sports and delivering the rigorous theoretical aspects of Health and Exercise Science particularly Biomechanics and Sports Psychology at A-Level.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant PE or Sports Science degree.
- Proven success in teaching A-Level Sport Science (Theory).
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to contribute to a collaborative faculty goal of raising sports participation.
