ECT of Business/Economics Vocational & Academic Pathways Mentoring Manchester
A dynamic secondary school in Manchester is seeking an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Business/Economics to join their highly collaborative Social Sciences department from January 2026.
- ECT of Business/Economics required from January 2026.
- Manchester-based school with strong links to local commerce and universities.
- Seeking an enthusiastic ECT committed to teaching both academic Economics and vocational Business subjects.
You will teach across KS4 and KS5 covering both GCSE and A-Level courses. The role is designed to maximize your exposure to different curriculum pathways supported by an experienced mentor with specialist knowledge.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by January 2026.
- Relevant degree in Business Economics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge across GCSE and A-Level.
- Commitment to guiding students through both academic and vocational pathways.
