Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking two experienced ACT Pharmacy Technicians to join a dispensary team in Greater Manchester. This locum role offers the opportunity to support safe and efficient dispensing services within a busy hospital pharmacy environment.

The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines as an ACT.
Support daily dispensary operations including stock management and prescription processing.
Ensure compliance with legal professional and hospital standards.
Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain workflow efficiency.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential.
Previous experience in a hospital dispensary setting.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
