Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (Night Shift)
- Location: Concord NH 03301
- Duration: 13 week
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2088 - $2232; (Negotiable based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions in a fast-paced progressive care environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex patient cases efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring for patients requiring intermediate-level care.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications perform treatments and document patient responses accurately.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills to identify changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Care Step-Down or Telemetry units.
- Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience.
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license (required).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
- EMR Experience: Cerner experience.
- Verification: All active RN licenses must be verified prior to start date.
