Position: CW Ride and Handling Engineer

Location: Saline MI 48176

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Job Description:

Development of ride and handling performance of vehicle frame body and chassis (suspension bushing) through prediction evaluation and analysis.
Use CAE FEA MBD or other simulation methods to solve problems.
Collect vehicle and bench test measurements while collaborating with technician team members.
Analyze data organize and visualization to support vehicle dynamics development.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering
2 years experience working as an engineer (inc. industry co-op/internship SAE project TL).
Completed academic coursework in mechanics engineering (structures vibrations or automotive dynamics).

General Requirements:

Experience with engineering experimentation (planning measurements statistical analysis reporting)
Experience with commercial FEA pre-processors solvers and post-processors

Preferred:

Experience contributing to a project as a member of a diverse team

Ride and Handling Requirements:

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop ride and handling performance of vehicle frame body and chassis.
