Job Summary

Were partnering with a cutting-edge technology company thats reimagining how brands understand source and activate data. Theyre building the future of marketing data intelligence and looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help design and scale the systems that make it possible.

Please note that this is a B2B contract position and the office is based in Budapest.

Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable backend data infrastructure
Design and build robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
Develop data integration frameworks merging APIs web data and third-party platforms into a unified intelligence layer
Collaborate with product teams to create advanced data systems that power new marketing intelligence capabilities
Define and promote best practices in data modeling system design and data engineering.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering and backend development
Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines distributed systems and data architecture
Strong experience with API integrations database design and cloud infrastructure
Proven ability to work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
A strategic mindset capable of influencing product and platform direction
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment.

Experience with any of the following is advantageous:

Programming languages: SQL Python Java Go Rust.
Databases and amp; Data Warehouses: BigQuery Snowflake Redshift
ETL / Data Integration: Airbyte Fivetran Meltano
LLM Performance Evaluation: Ragas TruLens
Orchestration: Apache Airflow AWS MWAA GCP Cloud Composer
Web Scraping and amp; Data Collection: Playwright Selenium Scrapy
