Job Summary
The Digital Hub Massenmarkt Billing is responsible for providing high-quality invoice generation and billing services for fixed-line mobile and mobile service provider (MVNO) products. Our mission is to ensure an excellent customer experience by delivering accurate flexible and future-proof billing solutions across the company.
As part of our Future Billing transformation we are consolidating fixed-line and mobile billing chains into a single modern billing landscape while gradually phasing out legacy systems. To strengthen our team we are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a strong quality mindset and a passion for building reliable business-critical systems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design develop enhance and maintain Bill Generation Management Services and Online Counting & Charging applications
- Ensure high code quality through code reviews testing refactoring and documentation
- Actively support all phases of the development lifecycle:
- Requirements analysis
- Technical design
- Implementation
- Testing and quality assurance
- Contribute to the modernization of the billing system landscape and the consolidation of fixed-line and mobile billing chains
- Collaborate closely with other billing chains and cross-functional teams to continuously improve customer experience
- Work in an agile (Scrum) environment as part of a well-established collaborative team
Qualifications :
- Strong ability to design write and maintain clean maintainable code
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Maven or Gradle
- GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
Nice-to-have experience:
- Cloud environments (e.g. AppAgile or similar)
- MongoDB and MongoDB Compass
- JIRA
- Unit testing frameworks and test automation
- Performance testing
- Refactoring large or legacy codebases
Language Skills
- English required (working language)
- German and/or Hungarian an advantage
Personal Skills
- Proactive mindset with a high level of ownership
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic about bringing new ideas into a stable experienced team
- Quality-driven and motivated to work on mission-critical systems
