The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintaining and securing our organizations network systems. You will ensure high availability performance and reliability of network operations while supporting users and collaborating with IT teams on system improvements and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain routers switches firewalls VPNs and wireless networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure IP addressing and VLAN configurations.
Maintain network security protocols including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention and access controls.
Perform regular system backups patching and updates.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network upgrades and issue resolution.
Document network configurations processes and change management activities.
Support end-users with network connectivity and hardware issues.
Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies.
Required Skills & Experience:
3-7 years of experience as a Network Administrator Network Engineer or Systems Administrator.
Proficiency with Cisco Juniper Fortinet or Palo Alto networking equipment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN and routing protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP).
Hands-on experience with firewalls switches access points and network monitoring tools.
Working knowledge of Windows Server Linux and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (SolarWinds Nagios or Wireshark).
Excellent troubleshooting analytical and documentation skills.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network or Security.
Experience with cloud networking (Azure AWS) or SD-WAN technologies.
Understanding of VoIP network automation and security compliance frameworks.
Proven experience in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
