SUMMARY:Assists with district-wide specific technology uses resources technology hardware and software and troubleshooting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical assistance for incoming in-person or over the phone queries using problem-solving techniques.
- Troubleshoot through diagnostic testing to quickly determine the source of the technical issue.
- Provide low-level technical support to third-party vendors and internally developed software.
- Recommend and assist with technology uses purchases and inventory.
- Issue and set-up mobile devices for staff.
- Assist with technology-related programs tools and resources in effective classroom instruction and application of curriculum.
- Participate in departmental design projects.
- Analyze operating procedures and develops related operating manuals.
- Participate in departmental design projects.
- Perform hardware inventory repairs and upgrades including adding and replacing PC hardware components.
- Establish and maintain good rapport with students employees community members and vendors.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) year experience in related field.
- Computer literacy including office productivity applications email and internet.
LICENSING:
- Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Various computer operating systems hardware software and related applications.
- Techniques and methods for organizing prioritizing and monitoring work.
- Principles and applications of critical thinking and analysis.
- Best practices trends and emerging technologies.
- The organizations goals and objectives.
- Applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Applicable federal state and local laws codes and regulations.
- Customer service principles.
- Modern office technology.

Working Conditions: Work is routinely performed in an indoor office environment.
