As a Student Assistant you will play an important supporting role in the daily work of SEVEN. Youll assist the SEVEN team with research communication and organizational tasks across a range of ongoing initiatives.
We offer a temporary employment contract for a period of one year with a two-month probation period. The position is for 10 hours per week. The UFO profile of Student Assistant applies.
The gross monthly salary ranges between 3.084 and 3.141 based on a 38-hour work week (scale SA in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten). The University of Amsterdam offers an 8% holiday allowance and an 8.3% year-end bonus. The CAO for Dutch Universities CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten applies.
SEVEN is the climate institute of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and brings together expertise from all seven faculties. SEVEN leverages this broad knowledge base to address climate change and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable societies around the world.

As a Student Assistant you will become part of SEVENs core team of six people. You will also regularly collaborate with SEVENs postdocs steering group members and the nearly 100 researchers affiliated with the institute.
