Job Title: Incident Analyst (with P&C insurance)
Primary skills: P&C Insurance
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily incident analysis troubleshooting and resolution including code checks and applying fixes or workarounds.
- Participate in Major/Sever Incident (MI/SI) calls for P1/P2 issues providing technical expertise and timely updates.
- Review and provide solutions for Open Incidents Requests Problems.
- Coordinate daily/weekly cadence to review and update open tickets
- Create and maintain Knowledge Articles (KA) to document resolutions and support knowledge sharing.
- Engage with end users regularly to clarify issues provide workarounds and gather necessary inputs for resolution.
- Execute ad hoc activities like service account password changes validation of batch files generated each day data validations data script executions.
- Monitor Message Queues Batches
- Handle daily user requests and other operational needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes under problem management.
- Monitor system health using Datadog and Splunk logs proactively identifying and addressing anomalies.
- Collaborate with the Development Teams and other stakeholders to share insights from recent incidents and problems aiding in resolution.
Requirements
- Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are:
- At least 6 years of experience in PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter Analyst experience.
- Strong Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Domain
- Strong technical expertise and work experience in GW ClaimCenter Integration.
- Knowledge of GOSU scripting is a must.
- Database skills preferably in SQL Server 2012 or ORACLE 11g.
- Conversant with expansion new development and maintenance projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must demonstrate clear abilities to independently work on complex technical incidents/defects/ tasks.
- Need to be excellent team player.
- Having hands on experience on CC and PC Configuration areas is a plus.
